Capability Vs Sychophancy

With the UPA coming back to centre again, there are a new breed of Ministers, with another handful of them trying to get hand on one. But then, it all depends on how well do you impress the High Command!

One burning example is the MEA, Ministry of External Affairs. Any sane man would reccomend Shashi Tharoor for the job, as none befits the post better than him. But, as the High Command would please, the race was between Kapil Sibal and SM Krishna, and Krishna won! I don't deny that Krishna too does have the exposure to External Affairs, but he is not the best out there!

I believe Tharoor is paying the price for not being an sychophant.
