Licensing wise, the Linux kernel is GPL licensed, and everything else is Apache Licensed.

The other solution meant intelligent copy paste. Qs from people include, how will a general app from market behave? Ans is it by default sent to the primary display.

Applications, Activity Manager, Window Manager, Surface Flinger, OpenGL, Kernel Driver support is required for Dual Display.

Changes required in : Activity Manager, WindowManagerService, IWindowManager.aidl

The change is complex, needs a lot of code change, not future proof, tough to make it work for more than 2 display.

Cool Demo of UID. WebService hitting the UID server, passing the Demographic, UID and finger print, and it works, pass a false finger print, and it says biometric didn't match!

10:55 AM
People are trying to mind hack around UID.

10:41 AM
The UID registration app is being demoed.(its a desktop app). It is quite intelligent.

10:32 AM
There is no standard Identity card for people of India. DL is a license to drive and not an ID proof. Same with Ration card, PAN card etc. And also is a headache to the issuing authority to verify the identity.
This also makes other entities disbelieve the issuing authority. And have to do the verification on their own, which increases the cost of Service Delivery. Thats where UID comes in.
