Addiction!

Well well well, the previous post was just a placeholder, just to make the appearance of the blog change a little, so that blogger (and my chatufied readers would know that I am still waiting to RIP , unlike Lehman brothers, (I apologize to everyone for overdoing the fun-making 0f the F- market of the US of A, but , chatufying being in my nature, I really couldn't stop myself(And this habit of putting brackets inside brackets, has only one meaning, that the writer is always nightmared by so called Computer languages(Oh yes, other fellow lunatics are also adept are doing it (non-lunatic aam aadmi do call them Mathematicians, but the difference being that mathematicians do distinguish between various brackets and use them properly, where are the former lunatic group seems to have forgotton what they do mean.)))))

Well enough drifting away from topic, I now dive in. This isn't about the Grad school's week end parties or B Schools JLTs. This isn't about those sutta evenings or daaru and "Tanduri nights"(again , this has nothing to do with Himesh and his song, though I guess, copying is legal in bollywood even without due mentions of the source, and even so if you happen to be following the Great Way of Bappi and Anu). This is about the TV series that you were glued to, you waited for them over the week to be telecasted and once done, you would download them and share amongst the peer group, so that to be branded the l33t. Yes, the shows have to be downloaded, because, noone watched the saas bahu or kkkkussumm(is SRk a rakhi-bro of Ekta??? I firmly believe he is.) The shows that people watch are from phoren, imported via the net, and watched over and over again (yes they are so watchable, cause one the plot isn't guessable and two, the camera doesn't do somersault  in air, giving you a reeling head for next few days, strong enough to make you to bunk classes.)

So what was your addiction???

Do comment in.

yeah dude! it reminds me when we used to wait eagerly for sundays to watch Mahabharat at 11 am and the elders would watch Shri Krishna at 9am. Who the hell cared for Saas Bahu series. They were just pebbles. Some more series that got hold of the public were Hum Log, Byomkesh Bakshi, Tahkikaat, Shrimaan Shrimati. These were the real gems. The Camera doesn't zoom into your face or show it multiple times (an exception would be Ramanand Sagar's but that had its own style and made a good khatti topic), and no 'bring-back-from-dead' twists or more-importance-to-dresses-than-acting-story-actors.
The modern days tv shows just make me sick.
